The COVID-19 pandemic is creating acute pain points and needs that did not previously exist. One such need is funding for undergraduate and graduate students working on thesis film projects. Without access to Moody’s equipment, most of these students are left in a lurch with no funding to rent or buy their own. As you can imagine, not being able to finish this critical capstone is crushing – not only potentially academically but also emotionally.
With these needs now laid bare, we are seeking to raise money for a fund in RTF to directly award stipends or scholarships to these students. This will ensure they have access to what they need in order to finish their degrees in RTF.
Would you be willing and able to support this fund? The average amount a student will need is about $5,000. Any amount helps to assist students in finishing their degrees from home.
