Our Crowdfunding Groups
The UT Jazz Orchestra, the university’s premiere jazz ensemble, hopes to tour Europe in July 2017, with performances at the Montreux and North Sea Jazz Festivals. The North Sea Jazz Festival, in Rotterdam, is one of the world’s most prestigious jazz festivals. Contributions to this project will fund North Sea Festival tickets for Jazz Orchestra members, allowing them the opportunity to hear two full days of jazz from the best artists in the field; and will fund hotel expenses for the group while in Rotterdam.
Supporting this project will allow the students in the UT Jazz Orchestra the listening and performing experience of a lifetime. While the Jazz Orchestra, and the jazz program, has achieved remarkable stature in recent years with relatively limited resources, the program needs additional support in order to maintain and enhance its reputation. Supporting this project will put UT’s jazz program on an elevated stage, representing the university on an international level, and will allow students to hear and be inspired by the greatest jazz musicians.
For your generous donation of $25 or more you will receive a personalized thank you card signed by all of the current members of the UT Jazz Orchestra.

For your generous donation of $100 you will receive one complementary ticket to the February Jazz Orchestra performance in addition to the JO CD and Thank You Card.
For your generous Donation of $250 you will receive two tickets to the February Jazz Orchestra Performance in addition to the JO CD and Thank You Card.
For your generous Donation of $500 you will receive four complementary tickets to the February Jazz Orchestra performance in addition to the JO CD and Thank You Card.
For your generous donation of $1000 you will receive four complementary tickets to the February Jazz Orchestra performance as well as two complementary tickets to the Long Horn Jazz Festival.
For your generous donation of $5000 you will receive Four complementary tickets to the February Jazz Orchestra performance as well as Four complementary tickets to the Long Horn Jazz Festival.
