2022 Class Gift: McCombs School of Business

Your gift to the BBA/MPA Alumni Endowed Excellence Fund provides financial support for student-led initiatives that enhance the educational experience of McCombs students. Created to support new or existing student initiatives that have a broad and potentially lasting positive impact for BBA/MPA students, this fund provides financial awards through a committee of students, alumni, and BBA program staff who work together to determine awardees. 

Examples of applicable student-led initiatives include:

• Leadership development – through action and not only book learning.
• Scholarships – to make sure that everyone who deserves an opportunity gets it.
• Global experience – we need to expand these opportunities so that everyone has the chance to learn more about the world and gain the confidence that comes from succeeding on their own.
• Community service opportunities – where your own experience teaches you the role of business in society, your personal role in society, and what it’s like to give back.
• Student organizations – that provide personal and leadership growth outside the classroom.
• Classroom success programs – that help students backfill their weaknesses in particularly hard subjects.
• Freshman Interest Groups (FIG) – that we made available to every incoming freshman beginning last year - and we want to keep it that way!

BBA/MPA Alumni Endowed Excellence Fund grants awards to student groups and individuals that spearhead further development or creation of programs that benefit and advance the McCombs student experience.
