Thank you for your support of Orange Santa 2022! Thanks to the generosity of the UT community, families in need were able to have a brighter holiday season.
Orange Santa began in 1994 as a program designed to foster a more caring university environment by providing help for members of the university community in need during the holiday season. In December 2021, Orange Santa served more than 400 families, including more than 900 children. This year, we anticipate the need to be great once again and plan to assist as many as 1,000 children.
"This Christmas has become better with your support!" Orange Santa Gift Card Recipient
"Thank you for the Amazon giftcard! This means so much. I appreciate our community and am so grateful and hope to donate next year." -- Orange Santa Gift Recipient
For 2022, Orange Santa will continue the success of the gift card program instituted in 2020. Families who apply and are approved will be provided a gift card to a store of their choice to purchase gifts specific to their children's interests. Families will pick up their gift card in person and have the opportunity to participate in holiday festivities at the same time.
Orange Santa is only possible through the support of the UT Austin community. As the program has shifted from toys to monetary donations, the support from Longhorn Nation has become even more vital. Please consider making a gift today to support one of these families.

If everyone at UT donated $5, Orange Santa would be able to support families experiencing need for 10 years
Your support of $40 provides one gift for a child this holiday season
Your support of $100 allows us to provide gifts for ONE family (2+ children) this holiday season
Your support at the $200 level helps us provide gifts to children from TWO families this holiday season
Your gift of $500 would fill the Tower with toys, providing gifts for at least FOURTEEN young Longhorns this holiday season.
