Who are We?
Texas Wushu is a sports club where students of all skill levels and experiences can learn the Chinese martial art of Wushu. (You know the flashy stuff that Jet Li does in his movies? That's what we do!) Our members perform at different cultural events, and a handful of us compete at collegiates, but the most important part of Texas Wushu is having fun doing what we do and improving our technique along the way!
What's Our Goal? Why this Year?
Every spring, our competitive team goes to the Annual Collegiate Wushu tournament. This is our third year sending a large group of competitors and it has increasingly been a financial challenge for the club, since each members pays out of pocket. They've been working hard this past year, and we hope to be able to send them and have all their hard work pay off!
