Who We Are: Texas Wake is the University of Texas at Austin's Wakeboarding team. Since our founding in 2004 our goal has been to bring the fastest growing water sport to the best University in Texas! Texas Wake has a twofold purpose:
Why We Need a Boat:Texas Wake is very committed to its goals, but it is not without challenges. Our model of operation is chartering a boat from a rental company for 4 days a week, with 4 hours each day. We are unable to have weekend practices because it conflicts with the rental company's usual business. Because of this, we are faced with two constraints:
How You Can Help: As a student-led and student-funded organization we strive to keep the cost as low as possible for our team, so that price will never hinder someone's ability to join. So your donations are crucial! Every little bit helps. Our goal for this fundraising platform is $15,000, and though we are discussing several leasing options with a local dealership, our boat will cost 5 times that! So we need all the help that we can get. As a donor, your 100% tax deductible donation will play a key role in helping us take back our National Championship Title.
With wakeboarding being one of the sports being considered as a new sport in the 2020 Olympics, there is no better time than the present to support your Longhorn Wakeboarding Team.

Your donation will cover one rider's entry fees in a regional competition, you will receive a video of one of our team members throwing their best trick!
Your donation will provide gas for 3 of our practices! You will get a downloadable, digital photo signed by the whole team.
Your contribution will provide an all expense paid trip to Nationals for one of our riders. You'll be invited to spend a day on the boat with the team! We will demo some of our favorite moves, and teach you one or two as well.
Your donation will cover 2 new team wakeboards for our beginner riders to learn on. You'll receive access to our sponsor tent at our 2nd Annual Longhorn Invitation in April, as well as a sponsorship sticker on the boat!
In 2010, Texas Wake won the Collegiate National Championship, for the first time since then we have the opportunity to compete for it again this May! To honor your generous donation, we will offer you a chance to hang with the team the weekend of Nationals, and give you a front row seat to all the action!
Your contribution will pay for storage of the new boat for a year. You'll get a large sponsorship sticker on the boat. You will not only get access to the sponsors' tent at the Longhorn Invitational, but you'll get the chance to experience the action first hand with two seats on the boat that will be pulling the riders during the competition!
Your generous gift covers the downpayment for our team's boat. In addition to all of the other wonderful perks, you will become a lifetime, honorary member of Texas Wake, and you will receive the honor of naming our new, burnt orange boat!
This donation would cover the ENTIRE boat! The team would be eternally grateful to you, and in addition to naming rights, you will get a chance to design a wrap that will cover the boat. You'll be recognized as a lifetime Texas Wake member! Your sponsorship logo will appear on the boat, our website, and all of our t-shirts moving forward!
