Through your generosity, outreach and support over the last four weeks we have exceeded our HornRaiser goal - $15,450 has been raised that will allow children who stutter from all over the world to experience the magic of Camp Dream. Speak. Live, and this amount does not yet reflect the generous matching gift from the Langs. We have had over 100 donors give to our cause. Your support enables us to continue to do all that we can to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children who stutter. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts - please know we will not take one donation for granted!
We especially thank Will for sharing the immeasurable value of simply having the chance to meet other people who stutter, and the power of acceptance - his perspective reflects the fundamental principles of our camp and our hope for all persons who stutter.
We are now at 95 donors and 75% of our goal. The words thank you fall short of how grateful we are for your support. We can’t wait to have the chance to show you the children from all over the world whose lives you will have touched with your generosity. We wanted to take this moment during our update to share a little of our camp magic with you – each year, we select a theme song to inspire our campers to live their lives to the fullest. For the first year of our camp (2014), we selected the song, Brave, because our goal is for all of our campers to say what they want to say! Our 2015 camp was inspired by the lyrics from Fight Song. Through participation in Camp Dream. Speak. Live. ALL of our children learn they may only have one voice, but they can make an explosion!!! We are one week into our campaign and we are half way to our goal! We want to send a heartfelt thanks to our generous donors who have supported us in our efforts to bring children from all over the world who stutter to attend Camp Dream. Speak. Live. 2016. Last year Stephen Washington, Jr. who is a person who stutters, traveled with his son to give him the opportunity to attend our camp. As you will hear him share in his testimonial, our camp was so special that Stephen is willing to travel to any location to ensure that his son can experience the magic of Camp Dream. Speak. Live. every year. Please share his testimonial and our HornRaiser campaign with as many people as you can. Together, a small group of people can change the world for the better!!!

Your contribution sponsors the transportation costs for one camper and their family traveling within Texas to attend camp.
Your contribution at this level sponsors one night of room and board for a camper and his or her family.
Your contribution sponsors airfare for one camper traveling within the USA to attend camp.
Your contribution sponsors room and board for an in-state camper and his or her family for the duration of the camp.
Your contribution sponsors the cost of travel and room and board for a camper and his or her family from another state to Austin, Texas to attend camp.
Your contribution covers the cost of international travel and room and board for a camper and his or her parent.
Your generous contribution supports the basic operating cost of an additional Camp Dream. Speak. Live. in order to serve the many children who stutter who are currently on our waitlist.
