The Ocean Exchange is a conference in Savannah, Georgia that has the mission of promoting environmental solutions to our modern day climate and environmental troubles. At the conference, two big awards are given, the Orcelle and Neptune Awards, which award $100,000 to the solutions that makes logistical operations more sustainable and helps with our advances in the ocean, respectively. Competitors at the conference persuade investors to invest in their projects and put their solutions to environmental problems into action.
The Plan II Water Ethics, Law, and Policy Course hopes to send as many students as possible to attend the conference to witness the process of innovation and investment that is required for sustainable environmental protection.
This will cover one half of a students travel costs to Savannah, Georgia!
This donation is the culmination of flights, food, and lodging.
