These funds will go directly towards ordering colorful Cactus Yearbook laptop stickers.
If you walk into any classroom, you'll see hundreds of students displaying a variety of colorful stickers on their laptop. (In fact, many of our staff members have some of their own!) It's easy to find yourself staring at these stickers and, even sometimes, asking where the student for the sticker from or what the sticker means. We truly believe students will support this project because of the popularity of laptop stickers on campus.
In the past, the Cactus Yearbook has struggled with increasing awareness of the book on campus. In fact, many students do not even know that UT has a yearbook. Because of these reasons, our sales have been very low for quite a few years. We hope that by giving these stickers to students who will proudly display them on their laptops, this will spark conversation about the yearbook and increase awareness of the Cactus Yearbook all over campus. We hope that stickers are one fun, exciting way that the Cactus can increase awareness, and also increase sales, of our beautiful yearbook that oftentimes goes unnoticed.
