The Student Emergency Fund provides real and immediate financial relief to students facing urgent financial needs. It helps students in need with food, groceries, clothing, and personal hygiene items, temporary shelter, and temporary cash relief in unexpected emergencies and crises. The Student Emergency Fund allows students to remain focused on their goals and education instead of the financial toll of an emergency.
SURE Walk and UT Night Rides are UT's services that provide free transportation so students can get home safe. SURE Walk provides rides on a golf cart or someone to accompany you home and UT Night Rides, partnering with Lyft, provides free rideshares for students during nighttime hours. Because UT is situated in the middle of a large city, these services were established to ensure that UT students have means to get home safe without financial worry.

Alumni, parents, current students, families, friends, and community members can all help our students overcome temporary crises and stay safe during their time on the Forty Acres.
