As we get closer to the final week of our HornRaiser campaign we'd like to thank everyone who has supported Hot Science - Cool Talks over the years. We could not have made it to #100 without the enthusiasm and dedication of our volunteers, pre-lecture exhibitors, speakers and staff. It takes a big team to bring these innovative outreach events together and every donation helps!  

For a small $10 donation we are able to provide an eye catching t-shirt to our volunteer staff. This helps them stand out from the crowd and better assist our event attendees. A $5 donation helps us with printing the directional signs to ensure participants don't miss out on any of the engaging activities at a Hot Science - Cool Talks event. Every little bit helps us continue to provide this innovative outreach series to the community.

Within the first week of launching our crowdsourcing campaign we have raised nearly half of our target goal. Thank you to everyone who has supported Hot Science -Cool Talks! What an amazing celebration we had on Friday evening for Hot Science - Cool Talks #100! Julia Clarke presented on "The Secret Lives of Dinosaurs" at AISD's beautiful Performing Arts Center. Her exciting talk along with the wonderful pre-lecture fair, featuring some thrilling hands on STEM activities, filled the 1,200 person theater.
