Hello and welcome to the UT Sailing Team's Hornraiser donation page! As a UT RecSports authorized sports club, we proudly represent the Longhorns on a national level of sailing. We've built our storied club on principles of both inclusivity and competitiveness- we accept new and experienced sailors alike with open arms, and consistently place in the top three teams at regional competitive regattas.

In the past few years, we've made a concerted and driven effort towards consistently qualifying for the Inter-collegiate Sailing Association Nationals, the highest level of competition in college sailing. Through the hard work and dedication of our officers and members, we qualified for nationals in spring of 2018, the first time we had done so in four years. The following spring semester of 2019 showed that it wasn't a fluke, as we qualified again for the ICSA Nationals, this time hosted in Newport, Rhode Island.
Here are our Lady Longhorns racing at the 2018 and 2019 ICSA Nationals. Our goal is to continue our success of qualifying for these events.
Not only do we provide a competitive sailing scene and foundation for a lifelong skill- we also give many students a unique sense of home and friendship. In order for us to continue this tradition of camaraderie into the future, our vision of the future must be one of continuous improvement. Having a drive to involvement in Nationals for future generations of Longhorn sailors can carry the name of the team and university forward and will accomplish this goal of a strong foundation thoroughly.
