Hi there everybody!
Because of you, we have reached our goal of $5000!!
We are extremely thankful for those who donated and helped us by sharing awareness of our dewatering product.
As the semester comes to a close, we are adding some finishing touches to our hydraulic press device and ordering the materials for the next iteration of our air pressure device!
Again, thank you all again so much!
Sincerely,
TEAM DEWATER
Thank you and hook 'em
Hello from Team Dewater!
We have fundraised for half a month now and we reached over 75% of our goal! We need a little over $1,000 to reach our Hornraiser goal of $5,000! Thank you to everyone who has donated, shared, and supported our project!
Device Progress
We recently transferred our hydraulic press prototype to the lab, and we will be able to begin testing it next week! For the air pressure prototype, we have looked into potential materials to further progress with the project.
Thank you again to everyone for supporting us and taking the time to spread our cause!
Please continue to share and we encourage you to follow our Facebook Page for more frequent updates!

Hi there from Team Dewater!
We have been fundraising for a week now and are right at about 50% funded!!! We need another $2500 to reach our Hornraiser goal of $5000.
We are extremely thankful for everybody who has donated and look forward to receiving more donations in order for us to progress further on our product.
Device Progress
Recently, we tested our first air pressure prototype and we learned that air leaks are going to be our biggest concern.
This just makes us more motivated to build and test new models!
We also recieved our first shipment of baked beans aka our latrine waste substitute and are currently using these to test the durability of our filters and prototypes.
We can't thank everybody enough for the support and for taking the time to spread our cause.
Please continue to share and we encourage you to follow our Facebook Page for more frequent updates!

For our device to process a goal of 15-18% final solid by mass content of latrine waste in refugee camps
Depending on the amount of rainfall in Cox's Bazar, the total solid by mass content in the waste can range from 1 to 5%.
For the 34,700 latrines that have been deemed unusable and unsanitary inside the camp.
For the current population of nearly 919,000 people living in Kutupalong Camp, Cox’s Bazar, Bangladesh
For the area of the Kutupalong refugee camp (12.95 square km), which is 10 times the area of the UT Austin campus
For the approximate 250,000 cases of disease caused by poor sanitation.
For the entire Dewatering Device to be developed and implemented in refugee camps!
