We are also planning on fundraising in the spring semester since the total cost of the community center will likely be over $20,000. In the final 2 days of this fall fundraising campaign, we are hoping to reach our stretch goal of $20,000. Reaching this goal will allow us to expand our designs for the community center and move forward with confidence that we can fully fund this project!

We have just reached $14,000 (which is 82% of our goal) and we are so excited! Thank you so much for your support. We have only 5 days left to reach our goal of $17,000 and we really need your help.

Thank you so much for all of your support, advice, and donations. We appreciate your support more than words can describe! With your help, we have raised over $5,610, which is 33% of our goal, in just a week.
In this past week, we've made lots of progress with our project, coming up with a couple of design options for the community center and fundraising at a few events around the Austin area. PUC India 2020
The Schedule Caste, one of the most historically disadvantaged groups in India, makes up 21.13% of the Siripudi population.
This community center will directly benefit 58 families living in Siripudi.
Added together, our team of 7 students and our technical advisor will travel for a total of 368 hours to Siripudi and back.
One of the largest Banyan trees in the world is 550 years old, located in Andhra Pradesh. It was in the 1989 Guinness Book of World Records!
We will be working on a plot of land of approximately 5,000 square feet.
