Our Crowdfunding Groups
The University of Texas Dance Team is the competitive dance team at the University of Texas. We are an organization under RecSports and we compete annually at two competitions and various performances around campus. American Drill Team Society (ADTS) is our regional competition in Denton, Texas which we use as a practice run for nationals. National Dance Association (NDA) Nationals is the biggest collegiate national competition and teams from all over the country come to Florida to compete, with the hopes of becoming national champions. We are a fun and accomplished group of young women who astounding enough are very diverse when it comes to our studies at UT. Almost every team member has a different major and job goal that we are constantly striving to succeed at, but our passion and drive to continue dancing in college is what brings us all together.
Unfortunately, because we are not under the athletic program at our university every member of the team has to pay their own way to nationals every year. This includes the plane ride to get to Florida and back, competition fees, music editing, and costumes for both of the dances we compete. These necessary items can add up very fast, which is why we need your help!
We greatly appreciate any gift given, and everything you give will be put to our nationals expenses. We are always aiming to better our selves, our team, and other fellow longhorn's, and with your help, you are making it much easier for us to focus on our passion and sharing that passion with our university and community!
Your gift of $30 will pay for a pair of jazz or hip-hop shoes that we wear while dancing on the stage at nationals. For this gift, you will receive a shout-out from all of our social media sites; Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter.
Your gift of $50 can fund one of our team members with a jazz or hip-hop costume. For this gift, you will receive a shout-out from all of our social media sites; Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter. Also a signed picture of us at Nationals.
Your gift of a $100 pays for a members costume fees. This includes their hip-hop and jazz costumes, as well as the associated shoes for each dance. You will receive shout-outs on all of our social media sites as well as videos of us after nationals on the stage in Florida. Also a signed picture of us at Nationals.
With your gift of $300, you could pay for one of our team members travel expenses, which would include their flights to Florida and back to Texas. You will receive shout-outs on all of our social media sites as well as an opportunity to come watch one of our practices before we head to nationals. After nationals, we will send you videos of both dances on the stage. Also, you will receive a signed picture of us at Nationals.
With your gift of $700, you could send a member on our team to nationals with their whole way paid for. Texas. You will receive shout-outs on all of our social media sites. You will also be featured as a sponsor at our Winter show and on our nationals T-shirt, as well as an opportunity to come watch a practice before we head to nationals. After nationals, we will send you videos of both dances on the stage. Also, you will receive a signed picture of us at Nationals.
With your gift of $2,000, you could send 3 members on our team to nationals with their whole way paid for. You will be featured as a sponsor at our Winter show and on our nationals T-shirt, as well as an opportunity to come watch multiple practices before we head to nationals. After nationals, we will send you videos of both dances on the stage, plus, a signed picture of us at Nationals. Also, we will give you multiple shout-outs on all of our social media pages before, during, and after nationals.
