FUN FACT: The UT Libraries used to refer to the website as the UT Library Online, UTLOL for short! Of course, that was long before LOL was shorthand for Laugh Out Loud, but it still makes me quietly chuckle. This snapshot of the PCL Map Collection from June 2001 is not only a cool snapshot of web design of the time, but the Online Maps of Special Interest indicate what was going on in the world.

There are many maps in the physical collection that still need to be digitized. For $83.00, you can fund the preparation, scanning, postprocessing, and vaulting of 10 maps!
The PCL Map webpage is one of the highest used webpages on our website, averaging over 593 hits per hour! Be a part of making these accessible through the UT Libraries' Collections Portal, so users can download high-resolution images and citations while ensuring they are preserved for future generations!
