In honor of the Class of 2020’s graduation this evening, Susan and Richard Marcus have announced a lead gift to this campaign. Thanks to their generosity, the Class of 2020 Scholarship now meets — and exceeds — the endowment threshold. Susan and Richard’s gift guarantees that this scholarship will provide student support each year, beginning with a recipient from Dell Medical School’s newest Class of 2024.

But we’re not done yet! Additional gifts to this scholarship will increase the amount of support each Class of 2020 scholar receives, and open up the possibility of awarding this scholarship to more than one student per year.

Susan and Richard are passionate members of the Austin community, and we are lucky to have them as members of Dell Med’s Founders Circle as well. We are grateful for their support for our graduating students — and future students to come.
