Support the COVID-19 Emergency Response

Gifts of all sizes help provide essential resources to front-line care providers and speed the testing and treatment of patients for COVID-19 at UT Health Austin, the clinical practice of Dell Medical School.

Support the COVID-19 Emergency Response

Dell Medical School's mission to revolutionize how people get and stay healthy is more important than ever. Our faculty physicians and staff are working closely with Austin Public Health and advising local and state governments on public health strategy as we work to stop the spread of COVID-19 and safely reopen our city. UT Health Austin, the school's clinical practice, is testing and treating patients for the virus, while using telemedicine to care for patients with other conditions.

Why your support is critical: Dell Medical School and UT Health Austin are working to scale COVID-19 testing and treatment efforts as quickly as possible alongside other organizations so that together, health care providers in our region can rise to this challenge and meet the needs of our vibrant community.

Your gift to the Emergency Response Fund will help:

  • Provide care providers with essential supplies and protective equipment like masks, gowns, gloves and face shields to keep them safe.
  • Provide meals and overtime pay for clinicians and staff working around the clock.
  • Move routine appointments to telemedicine.
  • Aid with unexpected operational costs related to COVID-19 testing and care.

Every dollar donated to the Emergency Response Fund allows Dell Medical School to invest in providing testing and care for COVID-19, while continuing to care for patients in the areas of brain health, cancer, women’s health, joint pain, primary care and more.

If you have symptoms or have been exposed to COVID-19, it’s important for you to be screened for testing. Students can call the University Health Services Nurse Advice Line at 512-475-6877. Others can call UT Health Austin at 833-882-2737; call your physician, who can register you to be tested with Austin Public Health; call CommUnityCare at 512-978-8775; or access telehealth services (via Austin Public Health).

We are grateful for your support as we work to keep our community safe and healthy.
