Our Hornraiser push has ended. But you can still donate to us here: <link>
Our Texas Exes Boston Chapter is a service-oriented community for Longhorns who have moved (or moved back) to the Boston area in Massachusetts. Though our time at UT and residence in Texas is in the past, the Texas Exes Boston Chapter is committed to encouraging and aiding future generations of Longhorns through our interstate and international network. Please donate to our scholarship fund so we can help little Longhorns cover the cost of books!
A little about what we do:
Our Boston Chapter consists of over one thousand UT alumni, friends, and family who share many common interests and a similar educational background. We host regular events for Texas holidays, hold gamewatches for UT football, engage in an annual local area service project, and provide $500 scholarships to first-year and transfer students from Massachusetts to the University of Texas at Austin.
In years past, we would raise the majority of our scholarship funds from in-person events. However, this has understandably become more challenging in the 2020-2021 academic year due to the worldwide pandemic and our dedication to keeping our members safe. We acknowledge that this pandemic has put a financial strain on many of our friends, followers, and even prospective students. We believe this is why it is more important than ever - if you are in a position to do so - to participate in our scholarship fundraiser so that we might help as many incoming students as possible.
