$10

Cartwheel

While a cartwheel is an introductory jump in wushu, a master of the cartwheel has no trouble doing any other jump. Thank you for helping us get to our goal. Every donation counts, and yours is certainly appreciated. You will receive an Instagram shout out from @texaswushu!

$20

Butterfly Kick

A deceptively high-level jump, the butterfly kick requires a ridiculous amount of coordination and strength to pull off despite it's simple nature. Your donation of $20 allows the club to pay for two pairs of premium white Feiyue shoes for our members!

$50

Aerial

An aerial, or no-hand cartwheel, is the first inverted jump that most wushu athletes learn and is one of the A-level skills that make up a nandu, or difficulty skill, run. Thank you for your generous donation to Texas Wushu! This is no small amount, and your donation of $50 will go toward equipping members with either a broadsword or straight sword!

$100

Butterfly Twist

Imagine the difficulty of the butterfly kick, and then add a three hundred and sixty degree turn. This is the butterfly twist, and it is the first twisting skill most wushu athletes learn. This donation not only propels us 25% towards our goal, but allows us to provide wushu silks that would otherwise be hard to purchase in the US. Your first-rate donation of $100 has given us the opportunity to provide eight members with customized athletic uniform tops!

$200

Aerial Twist

The aerial twist is similar to a butterfly twist, but not only does the athlete have to invert themselves, but they also have to wrap themselves into a twist at the same time in a gyroscopic turn. As one of the most advanced jumps, many athletes opt to avoid this jump, but the best always rise to the occasion. Your generous gift propels us to half of our goal and provides three professional level weapons for our members! This also accounts for one professional satin wushu uniform, or three satin mandarin collar uniforms.

$400

Xuan Feng Jiao

A Xuan Feng Jiao, or 720 degree whirlwind kick, is a turning crescent kick with an added spin, if the kick on its own wasn't hard enough. The vast majority of international athletes avoid this kick due to the possibility of injury, but as a C-level skill, an XFJ 720 has enough points to match an aerial twist and an aerial jump combined. Your contribution of $400 not only covers the entire cost for Collegiates for one student, but also covers the cost of one premium silk uniform and a professional-level competition weapon.
