DELL MED CLASS OF 2021 CAMPAIGN FOR THE C.D. DOYLE CLINIC

Second to none, we have spent the last four years revolutionizing health for our community and beyond, and we will spend the rest of our medical careers doing the same.

In celebration of our time at Dell Med, we want to leave a lasting mark by transforming lives through support of the C.D. Doyle Clinic with our Class of 2021 Giving Campaign.  We hope you will join us in supporting this clinic to continue and expand its ever-important role in the Austin community.

THE C.D. DOYLE CLINIC AND YOUR SUPPORT

The C.D. Doyle Clinic allows students to serve the community through hands-on care — specifically for people who are uninsured or underinsured. Founded in memory of Clarke Doyle, the C.D. Doyle Clinic is a free clinic run by student volunteers — allowing students to not only learn by treating the clinic’s patients, but to also fill critical gaps in care for Central Texans in need.

The C.D. Doyle Endowed Excellence Fund supports the clinic and related student-led initiatives. This includes sustained support for:

  • Operational expenses for running the clinic, including equipment and medications.
  • Acute care services such as wound care, blood pressure and blood sugar checks, vaccinations, HIV and pregnancy tests, and prescriptions.
  • Research and outreach initiatives to meet the demand of the 15 percent of Travis County residents younger than 65 living without medical insurance.

Your support will help future students like us make a difference — and gain real-world experience — by caring for our neighbors in need. On behalf of the Class of 2021, thank you for your generosity.
