This scholarship has been set up to honor the memory of Bryn Christine Howard who was taken much too soon. She was an excellent student who excelled in math which propelled her into her Civil Engineering career.
She entered The University of Texas at Austin in 2012 and was a member of Alpha Delta Pi sorority where she made many life long friends. During her time at the University of Texas she was involved in many organizations such as Women in Engineering. She also tutored in chemistry, differential equations and calculus.
Upon graduation, she accepted a Project Engineering position at JE Dunn of Austin. Her passion for helping women in engineering led her to recruit at UT for her company.
The mission of this endowed scholarship is to help students pursuing a career in Civil Engineering, with preference given to students participating in the Women in Engineering Program.
She will always be remembered as a bright, loyal, deeply caring and funny girl. She is dearly missed and always in our hearts.
