Global Career Launch, a comprehensive global internship framework for undergraduate and graduate students, gives UT students the chance to gain international experience and engage in high-impact work and research experiences abroad.
In a recent poll of Longhorn alumni, 85 percent of respondents ranked their study abroad experience as the top contributor to their post-graduation success, ahead of any other activity. Close behind were participation in a job or internship and collaborating closely with faculty on research. Global Career Launch combines and amplifies these experiences.

Your Impact
More than 60 percent of UT students who study abroad depend on financial assistance, and financial hardship ranks among the top reasons students hesitate to engage in a global program. In an effort to increase access to Global Career Launch, Texas Global awards a scholarship to each participating student to offset the costs incurred during their program.
In 2021, 30 students participated in Global Career Launch. In 2022, with your support, our goal is to triple that number.
