Orange Santa 2021 Needs Your Help!

Orange Santa began in 1994 as a program designed to foster a more caring university environment by providing help for members of the university community in need during the holiday season. In December 2020, Orange Santa served 464 families (almost twice as many as the 2019 program), including more than 1,000 children. This year, we anticipate the need to be great once again, and plan to assist 1,150 children.

For 2021, Orange Santa will continue as a mostly virtual program. Instead of collecting and distributing toys, we will provide families a gift card to a store of their choice to purchase gifts for their children. Families will pick up their gift card in person and have the opportunity to participate in holiday festivities at the same time.  

Orange Santa is only possible through the support of the UT Austin community. As the program has shifted from toys to monetary donations, the support from Longhorn Nation has never been more vital. Please consider making a gift today to support one of these families.
