We recently received an update from our wonderful friends Texas Performing Arts. They were able to secure 30 front and center orchestra tickets at an amazingly discounted rate of $14 per seat. This means that each generous donation that was made goes even further than we originally hoped, and our new goal is already met. The money we have currently raised more than covers the costs of the tickets for the students, chaperones, and Dell volunteers (and maybe a little extra for some popcorn)! Thank you to all who contributed to this heartwarming cause.
Texas Performing arts navigated a labyrinth of inquiries and approvals with Disney and Broadway Across America to make this happen. We are so thankful!
Now, we will continue to work on coordinating accommodations for each students’ individual needs so they can all experience The Lion King in a meaningful way.
