This donation helps us purchase basic supplies needed for the prototype engine.

This donation allows us to purchase minor engine parts directly from the dealer. Diesel parts are expensive.

This level allows us to purchase more sophisticated parts. For example, once the tooling is complete, each rotating liner will cost approximately $350.

Major engine parts are included here. A used crankshaft, for example. We plan on using a block for a 4.5-liter four cylinder and use this to build a 3.9-liter RLE. This is due to the thicker wall thickness. A used block will cost about that amount.

This amount will allow us to build the special tooling needed. For example, special fixtures are needed for fabricating the rotating liners. Also, special fixtures are needed for modifying the block.
