2023 Class Gift: Lebermann Innovation Fund

WHAT IS THE CLASS GIFT?

Each year, graduating students at The University of Texas at Austin mark their last year on campus by giving a “class gift” that benefits future Longhorns. Students can choose one of the highlighted funds selected by the Class Gift Committee — or to the people, places and pursuits that mean the most to them.

Plus, any donation given to the class gift will be DOUBLED up to $30,000 thanks to the Office of the President!

WHERE CAN YOU GIVE?

You get to choose the area you want to support! Just select from the Class Gift Committee’s highlighted designation, or give to an area you’re most passionate about.

This year, The University of Texas at Austin Student Foundation and the 2023 Class Gift Committee have chosen to designate $10,000 of Class Gift gifts* to the UT Libraries Lebermann Innovation Fund.

The Lebermann Innovation Fund provides equitable access to emerging information and technology for all students who visit UT libraries. By giving to this fund, the Class of 2023 will be remembered for making a UT education more affordable for students by improving their access to technology, digital tools and Open Access course materials, which are free alternatives to expensive textbooks.

Give today to make a UT education more affordable and accessible for the Longhorns who come after you!

*If we reach this goal, UT libraries will dedicate a brand-new bookshelf with a Class of 2023 plaque to commemorate the dedication of Texas ’23 to UT.

If you don’t see your area of passion at UT showcased, simply choose “Other” and write in the UT people, places or pursuits you want your gift to support.

WHY GIVE BACK?

When you give to the Class Gift …

  • You’ll leave a legacy of creating more opportunities for current and future Longhorns to change the world.
  • You’ll receive a Class of 2023 Tower pin to celebrate your burnt-orange pride.
  • You’ll be part of building a stronger UT campus community.

WHAT’S THAT ABOUT A TOWER PIN?

The first 1,000 gifts of $20.23 or more to the Class Gift from either a student or a parent will receive a special Class of 2023 Tower pin to honor their contribution to the people, places and pursuits that mean the most to Texas ’23.

Also, students who sign up to be Ambassadors and receive five or more $20.23 donations through their unique Ambassador link will also receive a gold philanthropic graduation cord to recognize your dedication to Texas ’23 on Graduation Day!
