The Harry Ransom Center
Where else in the world will you find Robert De Niro’s film archives, an original Gutenberg Bible and some of Albert Einstein’s calculations for his work on general relativity, all under the same roof? Nowhere other than the Harry Ransom Center at UT.
The Ransom Center is an internationally renowned film archive, humanities research library and museum. And your Gift to Change the World will provide visitors continued insight into the creative process of some of our finest thinkers, writers and artists — and deepen our culture’s appreciation of science, literature, photography, film, art and the performing arts.
The Landmarks Public Art Program
If you’ve been on UT’s campus since 2008, you’ve seen, or rather, experienced, Landmarks, our public art program that makes great art free and accessible to all students, faculty, staff and visitors.It makes every corner of our campus vibrant, beautiful and interesting.nbsp;
Through this Gift to Change the World, you can help Landmarks continue to bring art into the lives of thousands of people every day, encourage critical thinking, cultivate empathy and open the door to a lifetime of arts engagement.
Texas Performing Arts
There’s nothing quite like sitting in a theater and experiencing the same thing with thousands of other people at the same moment. And for kids, it’s an experience unlike anything they’ll ever get from a screen.
This Gift to Change the World will give more children across Central Texas life-changing, in-person arts experiences through Texas Performing Arts. These live stage performances — including Broadway shows, live music, plays and dance — help them explore their emotions, develop their imaginations and find their own unique voices.
