Join us in celebrating 75 years of information excellence. Since 1948, from the Graduate School of Library Science to the Graduate School of Library of Information Science and now the School of Information, we have equipped and empowered information science in all areas of the information ecosystem. Evolving and adapting to an ever changing world of information, the iSchool is the nexus of innovation and interdisciplinary scholarship focused on the human, social, cultural, and technical aspects of information. What starts here not only changes the world but makes a decisive impact on the information domain through our talented students, faculty, staff and valued alumni. By supporting our students, you are helping shape the future of information excellence at the iSchool and beyond. For many of our students, a degree at the iSchool would not be possible without the assistance of a scholarship. Our goal is to raise $75,000 in student support funds by Summer 2024.
You can choose to designate your funds to support our students in three different categories:
Student Scholarships: Your support will provide scholarships for undergraduate students majoring in Informatics, helping ensure UT can continue attracting the best and brightest from all backgrounds.
Graduate Fellowships: Your investment will provide teaching and research fellowships that will give graduate students opportunities to pursue professional development and research activities.
Experiential Learning Opportunities: Your generosity will help students step outside of the confines of the iSchool through experiential learning, giving them the chance to study information and technology from a different vantage point.
You can choose to designate your gift to one fund or multiple. If you would like to make a donation that supports multiple funds, you can do so on the giving page but selecting "Add a Gift to this Donation," searching iSchool 75th Anniversary in the campaign field, and selecting the second fund you would like to contribute to.
