WHO ARE WE?
The University of Texas at Austin's National Society of Black Engineers Chapter (UT NSBE) is a dedicated group of students at UT who are passionate about creating change through engineering! We connect students from all areas of study and encourage academic scholarship, professional success, and the uplifting of our surrounding communities.
WHAT ARE WE DOING?
We are fundraising to support our members in attending the 2023 and 2024 regional and national NSBE conventions! UT's NSBE chapter has established a consistent presence at NSBE's national convention where we engage with the national NSBE community, excel in competitions that demonstrate our knowledge, and explore enriching professional development opportunities that aid in the growth of our professional careers. Through transformative workshops, multi-day-event career fairs, and collaboratory events, we are also able to build an extensive network of resources for UT students.
WHAT IMPACT DOES THIS PROJECT HAVE?
These conventions are able to launch us early into our careers as we quickly gain experience in a variety of industries. Our members have obtained numerous opportunities from these conventions including:
Conventions also allow students to engage in professional workshops where they develop a variety of skills, which can be brought back to campus and applied to their university coursework.

This contribution will help transport students to and from convention locations!
This amount will be able to support 1 student's lodging accomodations for one day of the events!
Over 250 companies participate in the NSBE national convention every year! Thank you for supporting UT NSBE's participation.
This donation will help cover multiple student's housing accomodations throughout the duration of the convention!
This contribution can cover transporation for most trips needed at the conventions!
