2024 Class Gift: McCombs Canfield Business Honors Program

WHAT IS THE CLASS GIFT?

Each year, graduating Longhorns at The University of Texas at Austin make an impact by giving to the “Class Gift” to support future Longhorns. Students can choose to give back to one of the highlighted funds — or any of the people, places, and pursuits that have supported them while at UT.

As an added bonus, your donation to the Class Gift from March 1 – May 11 will be DOUBLED up to $30,000 thanks to the Office of the President!

WHAT CAN I SUPPORT?

The Canfield Business Honors Program (CBHP) challenges students with a specialized curriculum. Simply put, Canfield BHP is a top-notch program with a tight-knit community. We challenge students to think outside of the box and make connections in the process. In small classes of 35 to 45 students, CBHP participants focus on group discussions, presentations and analytic exercises.

Funds support the CBHP program in different areas, such as experiential learning opportunities, scholarships and events. Funding can also provide programmatic support for CBHP dual-degree programs such as:

  • Plan II (liberal arts)
  • Texas ECB Honors (engineering and computer engineering)
  • Texas CSB (computer science)

MAKE A MARK

Every year, the graduating Canfield BHP class sponsors the Make-A-Mark Campaign. The Canfield BHP Make-A-Mark Campaign raises funds in support of an endowed scholarship for future Canfield BHP students and also for programming events that students take part in. Throughout the years, Canfield BHP students have raised over $200,000 dollars for Make-a-Mark. The Make-A-Mark Scholarship has proven to be a successful recruiting tool for the top high school students in the nation. Your gift is an investment in your degree and goes on to strengthen Canfield BHP as one of the nation’s top programs.

YOUR IMPACT

When you support Canfield BHP, you help us blaze the world’s next business path, fuel and inspire entrepreneurial thinking and infuse unparalleled business acumen.
