WHAT IS THE CLASS GIFT?
Each year, graduating Longhorns celebrate their journey at The University of Texas at Austin by rallying together to support the people, places and pursuits they care about most through the Class Gift. Students, families and friends can support future Longhorns by giving back to one of the highlighted funds or any area on campus they are passionate about.
As an added bonus, the Office of the President will match the first $30,000 in donations! Your contribution to the Class Gift could have DOUBLE THE IMPACT!
The future of education, health and sport is made brighter by our graduates!
This May, we will celebrate a new class of changemakers as they become Texas Education alumni and begin to address society’s most pressing challenges in education, health and sport. Whether it’s developing innovative approaches to teaching, advancing health and wellness outcomes in communities across the globe, or using sport as a tool to positively impact people of all ages, our students are positioned to change the world for the better. Your gift of $20.25 or more will help commemorate this important milestone and provide scholarship support that keeps the College of Education financially accessible to future generations of Longhorns.

Keeping college affordable, especially for those in the helping professions, has never been more important. As enrollment continues to grow, scholarships are critical in empowering our students to pursue excellence on the Forty Acres. Every contribution to the Class Gift will be directed to scholarships that help students cover tuition, pay for books and materials, and participate in experiential and field-based opportunities that enhance their learning outside of the classroom.
Your giving communicates to current and future students that the work they are doing truly matters, and that they have a community of advocates who believe in their potential.

Anyone who gives $20.25 or more to the Class Gift will receive a special Class of 2025 Tower pin to recognize their time at UT and honor their commitment to creating a stronger campus for all Longhorns.
PLUS students who sign up to be ambassadors and receive five or more donations through their unique ambassador link will receive a gold philanthropic graduation cord to recognize their dedication to Texas ’25!

How can I become an Ambassador?
Anyone can be an Ambassador! Once you sign up, you’ll receive a toolkit to help you share information about the Class Gift with your friends, family and on social media. Sign up today!
How do I receive the commemorative Class Gift Tower pin?
Anyone who donates $20.25 or more will receive a Class Gift Tower pin. You can wear it at commencement, on your backpack or anywhere else you want to show off your Longhorn pride!
How do I receive the philanthropic cord?
Ambassadors who generate five or more gifts through their ambassador link will receive a gold graduation cord to recognize their impact.
How much am I being asked to give?
While the recommended donation is $20.25, you can participate in this special campus tradition by giving as little as $5.
I’m a family member of a Texas ’25 graduate. Can I donate?
Absolutely! We’ll ask for more information when you make your gift to make sure your Longhorn receives their commemorative Class Gift Tower pin.
I’m an underclassman at UT. Why should I donate?
It’s never too early to start your tradition of giving at UT! By participating in the 2025 Class Gift, you can celebrate and honor any of your graduating friends. Don't forget: Your gift could be matched so you can double the impact on the areas that matter most to you!
The first $30,000 in gifts received for this appeal will be matched. Gifts received after the limit is met will fund the designated area, but may not be matched.
