In the last 18 days, eight donors have helped us raise $2,560 toward the 38th Annual ILASSA Conference.
The ILASSA Conference is a space graduate students utilize to present their work and to develop dialogue surrounding relevant issues affecting Latin America. The ILASSA Conference offers students from multiple disciplines at UT Austin as well as other institutions in the United States and abroad the opportunity to present their research in the style and atmosphere of an academic conference. Hosting the conference gives ILASSA a unique opportunity for leadership and a chance to share that special Austin and LLILAS warmth. For the 38th ILASSA Conference we are expecting the attendance of 100 guests including keynote speakers, panelists, and participants from UT Austin, other institutions in the United States, and around the globe.

ILASSA Conference Coordinators
We, the ILASSA Conference Organizers, would like to take the time and thank everyone that has made a donation so far! We have raised 9% of our goal in this past week. We would like to give a special thanks to an anonymous donor who made a contribution of $300. We would also like to thank the Chair of LLILAS, Dr. Virginia Garrard, for her donation of $100. In addition, we would like to thank Dr. Lorraine Leu, Sara Law, Laura Park, and all the donors that have chosen to remain anonymous. Your contributions get us a step closer to producing a conference that allows for the growth of our graduate student Latin Americanist community.

This level helps support our mission and goals for the conference. With $25 we are able to pay for 5 ILASSA Conference journals. The ILASSA Conference Journal will include essay submissions from our conference participants.
This level of contribution helps us preserve the legacy of our conference through photography.
This level helps us cover the costs of printing posters, and programs for our conference packets.
This level helps us cover the full cost of our ILASSA Conference Journals. This journal is meant to document and highlight important issues conference participants will discuss during the conference.
Helps provide food for half of the duration of the conference so they are focused and ready to learn from our amazing speakers and guests.
This level covers the total expenses for our keynote speaker. Our keynote speaker is meant to reflect the theme of the conference and present relevant issues happening in Latin America.
