Down the Homestretch

April 21, 2018

The Charlie Craven Excellence Fund is coming to a fantastic close.  We have reached our initial goal for our fundraising efforts.  But we have 4 days remaining for anyone to make a donation to support the Athletic Training Program and its students.

If you have given to the Craven Excellence Fund, we appreciate your support and thank you for giving us the opportunity to endow a fund in Doc Craven's honor.  If you have not given at this point, there are four days remaining, until April 25th to make a donation online.

Please know we could not have done this without the great support of our faculty, students, staff, alumni, and friends.

Let's see if we can continue to raise funds to support the longevity of the Charlie Craven Excellence Fund for years to come.

40 for 40

April 04, 2018

 40 for 40 is here!

Dear UT Athletic Training Program Supporters,

The Charlie Craven excellence fund is still accepting donations! If you haven't yet donated, a great time would be during this year's 40 hours for the 40 acres! 40 for 40 is a campus-wide event at UT from April 4th at 6 AM through April 5th at 10 PM. The event is a time for philanthropy, big or small, to UT's many colleges, schools, organizations, and clubs.

The best part about 40 for 40 are the challenges! Depending on the time of day you choose to donate, the Craven foundation has a possibility to win up to $3,000 to go towards the fund!

The best time to donate would be 6 a.m. April 4 – 10 p.m. April 5

This is very important to our organization, please consider donating!

Any amount is accepted and appreciated!

Gaining Momentum

April 04, 2018

The Charlie "Doc" Craven excellence fund has been growing daily, but we still have a ways to go in order to reach our goal! We've raised $5,800 out of our $9750 total!

Until April 25th, 2018, we are raising money to support the Athletic Training Program at UT through the endowment of the Charlie Craven excellence fund. The University of Texas's Athletic Training program is integral in supporting UT athletics and creating the very best athletic trainers of tomorrow! With your donation, students will be able to better their skills in an equipped sports medicine environment which will not only enrich their knowledge of athletic training, but also provide the highest level of healthcare for our student-athletes here at UT and beyond.

Any sized donation is greatly appreciated! Would you donate and help support the UT Athletic Training Program?

HornRaiser Charlie Craven Excellence Fund Update

April 02, 2018

Hello to all supporters of the UT Athletic Training Program,

I am excited to report that after one week of fundraising activity for the Charlie Craven Excellence Fund that we are at 40% of our goal of raising $9,750.00.  Our current donations raised today total $4,035.00.  This is a really good start, but our goal is to reach the final amount by the end of our 30 days of fundraising efforts on April 25th.  For us to endow these funds in "Doc" Craven's name, we need to reach our final destination.  Please consider donating to the Charlie Craven Excellence Fund today, to help shape the future direction for students in the Athletic Training Program at The University of Texas at Austin.
