Many students at The University of Texas at Austin are now facing unexpected challenges as they relocate to safe shelter, replace spoiled groceries and belongings destroyed by burst pipes, or struggle to pay bills after losing work hours or wages.

All UT funds raised will be administered and distributed through the Student Emergency Fund, managed by Student Emergency Services in the Office of the Dean of Students, to ensure equity and support for the students in greatest need. After all requests for winter storm support have been met, any remaining funds will stay with the Student Emergency Fund to support students facing other emergencies.
