At KVRX, the best part of being involved is feeling a part of a wider community. After a year of outdoor performances, pre-recorded shows and gazing longingly at the station from the courtyard, we're finally back and reconnected as we belong!
For this year's Amplify KVRX Hornraiser, we're asking for funds to purchase production equipment. Since our return, we've been able to re-evaluate our needs beyond simply staying afloat. So with that said, we need better, non-broken/breaking, equipment for recorded performances. Being away from the station's recording spaces has sadly disconnected us from the artists we love and support. With new equipment, we hope to come back in full force in our support.
Specifically, we're raising funds for equipment such as lighting, mics, cameras, amps, and a backline drumkit among other needs. We'd love to be able to go into this next year fresh and ready to host artists and bands in our studio and interview them with quality equipment. To give artists our best, we're looking to have equipment that will allow us to.
We need your support to continue providing opportunities for students to be creative, learn new skills, and be involved in Austin music!
