Our Crowdfunding Groups
Thanks to the generosity of our donors, we raised over 6,500!!! Your contributions are what has made this possible. We will be moving forward with our research to examine the financial and emotional needs of nurses who are family caregivers. They matter and the work they do matters--this research will support their well-being as individuals and as family/professional caregivers.
We had a final Facebook Live Session where we discuss our gratitude for the support we have received and talk about navigating grief during the holidays. We have included it here. Please consider sharing it with those who are dealing with loss or grief during this holiday season.

We are in the homestretch! Thank you for all of your efforts in supporting our project, A Dual Role: Nurses as Family Caregivers. Every contribution makes a difference. We are approaching are at $5,715, which is over 25% of our goal of 20,000. Last week, Dr. Phillips and Dr. Hebdon shared their use of art in coping with grief and caregiving. We have included the link in this update.
For our last push, please consider reaching out to anyone you know who has benefited from the work of nurses or family caregivers. Nurses who are doing both roles need our support, and your contributions will help us understand how to best support them!

Whew! We are at Week Three, and we are making progress towards our goal of $20,000. We are now at $4,575. We are so grateful for the time and generosity of our donors! We are at the end of week one! We have had a lot of support from family, friends, and members of the Nursing community. We had a Facebook Live Session where we talked about our project.
