Support the Student Emergency Fund

What is the Student Emergency Fund?

The Student Emergency Fund provides real and immediate financial relief to students facing urgent financial needs. This 45-day campaign will replenish some of the fund for the coming academic year and help us meet growing levels of need. The Student Emergency Fund helps students in need with food, groceries, clothing, and personal hygiene items; temporary shelter for students who cannot return home because of domestic violence or other disasters making their living situation unsafe; and as cash relief to help students recover from unexpected emergencies and crises.

Why We Need Funding

We depend on your support to make this valuable student service possible. The Student Emergency Fund allows students to remain focused on their goals and education instead of the financial toll of an emergency. Alumni, current students, families, friends, and community members can all help our students overcome temporary crises and go on to change the world.

Supporting the Student Emergency Fund supports student success and graduation rates by meeting the basic personal needs for students, including shelter, clothing, food, water and medicine. Over the past two years, we've seen a drop in financial support for the fund, while the needs of our students continue to grow. This gap has affected the amount we can award each student in need. Your support will help replenish the Student Emergency Fund to support our students experiencing family emergencies, residential displacement, and other financial needs.

How You Can Help
