The College of Natural Sciences Student Emergency Fund was created to support our students in times of financial hardship due to emergencies. We understand financial help cannot fix all of the unique issues that a student may be facing, but we hope these fund can help students get back on a path of success. Our fundraising goal of $100,000.00 will ensure that we can offer assistance to more applicants in need.
A student in financial stress due to an emergency may be falling behind academically, develop mental health issues like anxiety and depression, or suffer other medical or safety consequences. When basic necessities are out of reach, students are less likely to become Longhorn leaders who give back to the global community. With rising housing prices and inflation, we're seeing significantly more requests for assistance with financial emergencies. You can help by donating today! 100% of your tax-deductible donation will go to a CNS student in need.
We have committed to raising $100,000.00 to fund an average of 200 life-changing scholarships for deserving CNS students in the next year.
