Team Tanzania is ecstatic right now! We are so grateful to everybody that donated and allowed us to hit $9000 with a week to spare! Please continue donating as much as you can so we can help out the children at Pongwe as much as we can!
First off, we just want to give a big thank you to everyone who has supported the team in any way through our journey! We were so excited to find out we met our original fundraising goal of $9,000. When we first decided on this goal, we felt $9,000 would be difficult to raise, but not impossible. Due to this success, we are happy to announce that we are raising our goal up to $11,000! The additional funds will continue to cover our original project costs of the latrine system, as well as cover a security fence for the albino students. In this region of Africa, Albinos are considered to have magical powers and can bring good fortune. In order to ensure the protection and safety of their lives, the school has asked for the construction of a fence. Please continue to support our project! Thank you!
