We are overwhelmed by the support we've received in the first half of our 30-day fundraising goal! With two weeks left to go, we've already surpassed our $5,000 goal. We can't thank you enough for your generosity and support! Without you, this would not be possible.
However, we are not stopping here. We're excited to announce that in the last two weeks of this campaign, we are seeking to raise $10,000 in pursuit of our ultimate $25,000 goal, the amount needed to begin our endowed scholarship.

Beta Gamma Chapter, Tau Beta Sigma
We currently have 33 membership candidates who will become active in April and eligible for this scholarship. This is the future of our Chapter we're hoping to support most!
As of now, there are 72 Active members of our Chapter. These sisters give their time and resources to serve members of the Longhorn Band and the Austin community.
Tau Beta Sigma has 143 Chapters nation-wide. That totals to about 2,800 sisters dedicated to serving their band members and communities!
In the Spring of 2017, Beta Gamma's active members logged 728 hours of service for the Longhorn Band and with other non-profit organizations throughout Austin. With this scholarship and the financial security it will provide to our sisters, we hope to keep increasing this number!
In 1957, seventeen female members of UT's Longhorn Band started the Beta Gamma Chapter of Tau Beta Sigma. Since then, we've grown to become one of the largest Chapters in the nation. We reconnect with these founding members each year at alumni band day!
A $5,000 donation to this project is representative of the $5,000 our Chapter raises and donates to the Make-A-Wish Foundation each year. This contribution will complete our endowment goal for the year and allow us to focus the rest of our efforts on increasing the philanthropy work we do for the community!
